The story

Gordon 'Pawnee Bill' Lillie was Cody's biggest rival before the two merged their shows in 1908. Posters like this one promised 'the only genuine wild west,' a jab aimed straight at Buffalo Bill.

About the studio

The show posters with no name on the stone were printed by the lithograph houses that worked for the road: the Courier Company, the Enquirer Job Printing Company, and Strobridge. The sheet is the credit.

Size guide

Sizes follow this picture. A framed print adds the mat and the moulding, so the outside is larger than the sheet. Canvas is the face size, with a 1.5 inch edge that does not add to the front.
