The story

Moran's sketches from the 1871 Hayden expedition helped persuade Congress to create Yellowstone, the first national park. He spent years reworking this view and was so tied to the park that he signed his work 'TYM', Thomas 'Yellowstone' Moran.

Moran’s sketches from the 1871 Hayden survey were part of the case for Yellowstone. He signed some later work TYM, Thomas Yellowstone Moran.

Size guide

The size you order is the photograph. A framed print adds a 2.5 inch mat and the moulding, so the outside is larger than the print. Canvas is the face size, with a 1.5 inch edge that does not add to the front.
