The story
From 1927 to 1941, Gutzon Borglum and hundreds of workers carved the faces of Washington, Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Lincoln into Mount Rushmore, in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Each head is about sixty feet tall. The work ended in October 1941, after Borglum’s death, with the sculpture left at the heads.

Size guide
The size you order is the photograph. A framed print adds a 2.5 inch mat and the moulding, so the outside is larger than the print. Canvas is the face size, with a 1.5 inch edge that does not add to the front.
