The story
Sokko was a star at the National Zoo in Washington, and he sat for a studio photographer the way a senator would.
About the photographer
1905–1945
Harris & Ewing was Washington’s picture bureau. Between the senators they also kept the stray cat, the goat cart, and the stenographer who took dictation in a shower.

Size guide
The size you order is the photograph. A framed print adds a 2.5 inch mat and the moulding, so the outside is larger than the print. Canvas is the face size, with a 1.5 inch edge that does not add to the front.
